Who We Are and What We Are About . . . .
Stephenson Presbyterian Church has had a rich history of presence and mission at the cross roads of the Rocky River and Unionville-Indian Trail intersection.
Our vision, as members of the universal Body of Christ, is to be the people of God who do the work of God as a loving, Christian community. Such vision has inspired us (1) to be hospitable toward all persons regardless of nationality, race, color, creed, or sexual orientation; (2) to provide meaningful , corporate worship services that are grounded in God’s Word as interpreted by the teachings of Christ, a blending of traditional and alternate forms of liturgy, and relevant to contemporary issues; (3) to provide intentional faith development for all age groups; (4) to risk ourselves through mission and service; and (5) to be faithful stewards all that God has entrusted to our management, including time, spiritual gifts, learned skills, material possessions, and the earth.
We invite and seek the help of all who feel led by God’s Spirit to participate in our vision and mission with us. Being located at such a busy cross–roads, in a rapidly growing area, it is our desire to mature as followers of Jesus Christ and to invite others in the area to join with us in doing the same.
